Personal Assistance Daycare offers flexibility by working around your family’s schedule and providing additional monthly care hours. The number of hours is determined by the Regional Center based on the individual’s specific needs and case management notes from our agency. If it is found that the consumer requires extra care, your Regional Center service coordinator may initiate a purchase of service. This ensures that the consumer receives the additional support needed.
Daycare Responsibilities:
- Offering assistance with daily living activities, such as managing essential tasks
- Providing personal care, including help with bathing, grooming, and other hygiene-related needs
- Assisting with dressing to ensure comfort and ease for the individual
- Preparing meals to support proper nutrition and well-being
- Performing light household chores, including basic cleaning tasks
- Managing laundry to maintain clean and fresh clothing and linens
- Offering companionship to promote emotional support and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Supporting oral hygiene and taking care of skin-related needs
- Providing incontinence care to maintain cleanliness and comfort
- Assisting with walking and mobility to ensure safe movement
- Helping with transfers from one position or location to another
- Monitoring vital signs such as pulse, temperature, and respiration for health tracking
