What types of services do you offer?
We provide a range of in-home care services, including Respite Care, In-Home Daycare, Companionship, Parent Conversion, and Medi-Cal Waiver Programs for Personal Care Services.
Is 24/7 care available?
Yes, we provide care services 24/7, ensuring continuous support whenever needed.
How much advance notice is required to arrange for an on-call caregiver?
A 72-hour notice is recommended to allow time for orientation before the respite worker starts. Early requests increase the likelihood of securing a caregiver for your preferred date and time.
What qualifications do caregivers have?
Our team consists of compassionate and dedicated professionals who recognize that each family’s needs are unique. Our caregivers, who are all over 18, are CPR/First Aid certified, have completed TB/Physical exams, and possess relevant experience or training. They also undergo background checks and adhere to the Responsibilities/Duty Statement outlined in the Job Description. Many of our staff have years of experience in respite services, with some having personal connections to a disability or a strong passion for making a meaningful impact on families.
Who monitors consumer hour usage?
In Home Respite and Caregivers keeps records of usage based on the timesheets submitted by caregivers. It is also advisable for you to track the dates and number of hours used each month.
How can a consumer or caregiver verify their hours?
You can contact the office at any time to inquire about the hours used and your current balance. Please note that In Home Respite and Caregivers cannot cover or pay for hours that exceed the total authorized amount.
